Safety

Our first priority

Upstate Zipline inspects its zipline course, equipment, and bus daily. Periodic inspections occur if we feel there is a cause for a more intense assessment (lightning, high winds, etc.) Universal Zipline Technology inspects every aspect of the courses quarterly.

Upstate Zipline holds safety as our first priority.

They are attached to trees that are guy-wired for strength and durability. Guests glide through the air using a pulley, climbing harness, and dual lanyards, conforming and exceeding industry standards for load capacity. This equipment is continuously monitored throughout the day.

Cables are ½" aircraft grade steel that will hold 23,000 lbs.

All guests are instructed on safety and riding techniques before the tour during safety orientation. On the tour, guests are never unclipped unless they are on the ground. Our guides handle all equipment transfers throughout the zipline canopy tour.
